Tony Blackie
Tony has a background in journalism, at The Age newspaper, Melbourne, The Sun-Herald, Sydney and was the Australian correspondent for the Observer. He is the author of The Australian Consumers Handbook. He was Managing Editor of Your Computer and several other magazines. He joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as Head of Media and Information Services. Tony also spent several years working in PR in London. He established Blackie McDonald in 1986. He has served on the Council of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and was a Board member of the Australian Multimedia Industry Association (AIMIA) Tony holds a Certificate in Market Research from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Macquarie University, and a Masters degree in Management from Macquarie University Graduate School.
